About Bandhavgarh National Park

Covering an area of approximately 450 square kilometers, Bandhavgarh National Park is divided into three main zones: Tala, Magadhi, and Khitauli. Each zone presents a distinct experience, with Tala being the most frequented due to its rich history and frequent tiger sightings. The park’s terrain features a captivating mix of steep ridges, dense forests, and open grasslands, providing a stunning backdrop for wildlife viewing.

A visit to Bandhavgarh promises a journey into the heart of lush forests, home to a diverse range of wildlife. The park’s natural beauty and safari experiences allow visitors to witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. With a jeep safari, you can get a closer look at the majestic Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, and other wildlife, capturing memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Bandhavgarh National Park offers two types of safaris: Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari. However, the Elephant Safari is currently unavailable at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. The park has strict rules on safari access, limiting the number of vehicles permitted per session, so advance reservations are essential. Safari schedules and vehicle capacity vary by season and are managed by the park authorities. All reservations include an entry permit, and visitors are required to enter the park with a guide in an authorized vehicle. The approximate safari timings are as follows:
