Booking Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and submitted to us at least 15 days before the service date. Cancellations must include all booking documentation, such as the original booking receipt, invoice, and any other relevant paperwork.
Non-Refundable Services: Please note that Jungle Safari bookings are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation.
Refund Policy
Once a cancellation request has been successfully received and confirmed by us, Big Cat Tours will initiate a refund to the source account or chosen method within 7 business days.
Service Provider Policy
Certain services, due to the nature of the arrangement, are strictly non-refundable and non-cancellable once payment is processed. These include Jungle Safari bookings and accommodations where providers do not permit refunds or cancellations.
24-Hour Order Cancellation
Orders may only be cancelled within 24 hours of booking. After this period, cancellation requests cannot be accommodated. For bookings already confirmed after 24 hours, cancellations will not be accepted. Refunds may be processed, subject to the policies outlined here.
Service Delivery Policy
Big Cat Tours provides safari and accommodation booking services across India, with confirmations generally processed within 24 hours. We operate 24/7 support, even during holidays, to assist our clients.
In situations beyond our control (such as delayed service provider confirmations or other unforeseen issues), Big Cat Tours reserves the right to cancel orders. In such cases, we will refund any payment made for the cancelled service.
Payment Methods
Our website allows easy, secure payments for international clients via bank transfers, net banking, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Please be advised that credit card payments may incur additional bank charges, which will be added to the total amount.
Detailed Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, a written notice must be provided. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
30 days before arrival: 10% of the tour cost
15-29 days before arrival: 30% of the tour cost
7-14 days before arrival: 40% of the tour cost
2-6 days before arrival: 50% of the tour cost
Less than 48 hours or no-show: No refund
During peak seasons such as Diwali, Holi, Christmas, and New Year, separate cancellation policies may apply. These terms will be communicated upon booking.
Additional Costs Due to Policy Changes
Please note, if the Government of India imposes any increases in safari permits, taxes, fuel costs, or guide fees after a tour cost is finalized, these additional charges will be applied to the final bill.
